CLEANING A PERMANENT/
WASHABLE FILTER IS QUICK AND EASY!
Following the recommended cleaning instructions for your electrostatic air filter can ensure its efficient operation for numerous years without issues. Neglecting the proper maintenance of the filter could reduce its effectiveness. Like all air filters, allowing too much dirt to accumulate could lead to increased resistance to airflow, potentially damaging other parts of the ventilation system. The cleaning frequency for the filter, based on individual circumstances, should be every 4-6 weeks.
1. Simply remove the air filter.
2. Spray water on one side of the filter. This will remove dirt on the opposite side.
3. Spray Air-Care’s Filter Cleaning Spray to help with stubborn dust and stains. Then turn the filter around to wash the other side.
4. Wash the opposite side. Use Filter Cleaner if needed.
5. For a fresh deodorized smell in your home, use Air-Care’s Filter Deodorizer spray.
6. Let the filter air dry for approximately 20 minutes.
7. Replace the filter. Complete these steps every 4 to 6 weeks for the best results.
